Illustrating Stories Through Design

Venezuelan illustrator and surface pattern designer Valeria Savino creates story-driven artwork inspired by place, memory and everyday life.

Originally commissioned for NEREA’s MACUTO Collection, her exclusive illustrations capture the architecture, landscapes and spirit of one of Venezuela’s most beloved coastal towns.

Following the earthquake, these works took on a new purpose — preserving the memory of Macuto while helping support the communities rebuilding around it.

    For more than 30 years, Fundaprocura has supported people living with physical disabilities in Venezuela. Following the earthquake, its work includes mobility equipment, rehabilitation and essential care for survivors.

  • ALIMENTA LA SOLIDARIDAD

    Alimenta la Solidaridad works with vulnerable communities across Venezuela through nutrition and long-term social programs. Following the earthquake, it expanded its emergency response to communities along the central coast.
